Stephanie Barnes Taylor is named 2013 Jackson County Art for Heart Gala Chairperson

The Greater Southeast Affiliate of the American Heart Association is pleased to announce Stephanie Barnes Taylor as the 2013 Jackson County Art for Heart Gala Chairperson. Mrs. Taylor is the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel at Singing River Health System. She also provides leadership development and strategic planning solutions through her company, The Fruition Group. Ms. Taylor has led many community efforts along the Gulf Coast and has been recognized as one of South Mississippi's Top 10 Business Leaders Under 40, Class of 2008. She is a graduate of the Leadership Jackson County Class of 2006.

In agreeing to serve as Art for Heart Chairperson, Ms. Taylor shared “heart disease is one of the most preventable illnesses. We have the power to have healthy hearts through our diets, exercise and lifestyle. I want to continue to raise awareness and incite action to taking better care of our hearts. We have a strong and vibrant community along the Gulf Coast and we need people healthy enough to enjoy it and to ensure its continued growth.”

During the evening, Mr. Richard Chenoweth will be honored for his unending generosity which has improved the lives of countless children in Jackson County throughout the years.
